Design & Calculation

Under the Schools Photovoltaic Programme, Clean Energy Solar designed a solar photovoltaic system on the southwest and southeast facing roofs of the main building.

After the initial design of the proposed system, the estimated annual production was calculated to meet the school’s requirements.

Solar Inverter

Solis Single Phase 5kW Dual MPPT

Offers 5kW backup power with a swift 20ms switch time, multiple protections, and high charge-discharge efficiency.

Mounting System

Roof hook Rapid2 + Rapid16

Roof hook and screws: stainless steel fitted with Rapid design to allow quick & easy fitting of mounting rails.

Installation & Results

Clean Energy Solar sought to install the panels during the Easter holidays to avoid interruptions during school hours.
The inverter was installed in the main office next to the distribution board to facilitate later access.
The tracking screen as part of the scheme was installed in the main entrance area in a location that is convenient to the customer.
All work was completed in accordance with SEAI guidelines.
